California Scholarship Federation

Welcome to the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) blog.
California Scholarship Federation is a society to honor academic achievement and assist scholars in preparation for college. Each semester students may apply for membership as qualification is based on grades earned on the final report card of the previous semester. To qualify, students must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA in academic courses. Non-academic courses such as service or physical education are not applied toward the requirements. For further detailed information, contact the sponsor, Mrs. Galvin in room 312. Each semester dues are collected to remit to the state organization's scholarship fund. Our society conforms to the guidelines set forth by the state organization.
Advantages to society membership include formal recognition of academic achievement, the opportunity to apply for a CSF scholarship at graduation, opportunities to participate in community service activities with the club each semester and exposure to information regarding college and scholarship requirements and availability. Scholars who have been active members of CSF for 4 or 6 semesters qualify for special recognition at their graduation: a colorful cord and an embossed diploma.
Meeting are held on Thursdays at lunch in room 312.
Officers for Spring 2006 were President Natalya P'Yatskova, Vice-President , Treasurer Fatima Dominguez and Secretary Mike Orellana.
